Public News Post #2865

To the citizens of Antioch and Ithaqua

Written by: Ser Aakrin Krax'ai, Death Weaver

Addressed to: Everyone

Please take the time to read this, it affect each and every one of you
personally.
The actions of your leaders, such as Silken and Draven, have forced
Celidon to a point we don't enjoy. They have been using non-combatants
to attack Celidon. As I understand it, some of you are being forced into
combat service, I'm sorry to hear this. But Celidon must respond to
reality. The reality of the situation is that your leaders choose to
attack our home when nobody is around using people who have not taken
part in the war they started.

As several of you have noticed, and many more will become aware of, we
have been forced to accept that your leaders fight without honor. As of
now, all citizens of both Antioch and Ithaqua will be branded an enemy
of Celidon until such time as this war is declared ended. This is a
precaution to Silken's constant abuse of those who have not taken part
in this conflict.

For months now, Silken has led attacks on our council under the rules of
total war. Which means that once the raids are within our council, they
attack anybody they see. Anyone at all. For several months now, our
council has been pushed to a point where we no longer have anything new
to lose. And we are forced to face this type of attack when none of our
warriors are present to deal with it. This is the cowardly tactics used
by the leaders of your war machine.

From this day until the end of this war, Celidon has turned to face
reality. Each and every one of you is a possible future attacker in this
war that we did not start. As such, you are now all going to be spending
a lot of time hiding within your walls, or in Dis.

Celidon did not start this war, but we will not bow down to a coward who
wields a mace of numbers. As your war machine has been treating us, so
we shall now be treating you.

You are all going to continue to die until they accept an end to this
war.

Here are the terms, presented to both Ithaqua and Antioch:
+Ten Million gold pieces. Total, between the two cities. You can decide
who pays how much between you.
+Unenemying of everyone enemied during this war. A list of ten people
may be chosen on each side of people who will not be unenemied.

Celidon did not start this war, and we'd be happy to see it ended. The
money is to cover the costs of your raids against us and misfortune to
citizens who wished to be no part of it. The status reversal is because
Celidon does not wish to harbor ill feelings to those who were forced
into a war by their leadership.

If your leadership wishes to end this war they've started, they can
contact Leska. But unless it is with gold in hand, any other requests
will be ignored. They've shown on numerous past occasions in this war
that requests of cease fire will be broken, by your side. No posts will
be responded too, no personal conversations will be taken seriously.
Your leadership has lost the ability to be trusted with cosntant lies,
and will be treated according to past actions.

The only change that may be made to our two simple terms, is this. We
will accept is a drop from ten million gold to six, should the leaders
of both Ithaqua and Antioch make public apologies for starting a war on
our council.

You have the numbers to make your leadership listen to you, this war is
in the hands of the citizens of Antioch and Ithaqua now. Celidon has
nothing more to lose, and we have been forced to fight the war on the
level given to us. Anyone not on the NWHO list will be destroyed. Should
your leadership abuse this exception, then we will remove it.

I look forward to the end of this war,
Aakrin

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
