Gurn and Aarkin

Your ignorance amuses me.

Sani is not a member of Kinsarmar, nor do we embrace him as our own. He
has his own war with you, and we do not see a need to interfere with
that. If he was outside of Celidon while we were in, it is simply
because you've made yourself too many enemies, through your various
idiotic ways.

Skills are taught and passed down through the ages, if you were to read
any history, you'd be able to see that the Mages developed through an
attempt to protect Kinsarmar. The skills of a Mage are the skills of a
Mage, not some horrific guild developed and taught by a traitor to
Kinsarmar.

You mention Lalaith as a treacherous rogue? Was it not Lalaith that set
into motion the Council you now believe to be the embodiment of
perfection? Was it not his actions that allowed you to get off your
rears and try to make something of yourselves? I was mildly impressed
when I heard about the laws you intended to keep, however, it seems
those are pointless now.

I don't think "reign him in or learn to live indoors" should or can be
taken as anything else but a direct threat from your Emeris. I don't see
how it can be blown out of proportion when your Emeris refused to speak
to a Mage that sought to lessen the tensions between the Stormweavers
and the Mages, and in response to one death of one Silvari -not through
the use of a cataclysm- threatened to in turn cataclysm the Duchy.

Aakrin - if you didn't catch that. Your idiocy, to threaten the Duchy
with a cataclysm when one of your citizens died to one of mine outside
of Kinsarmar and Celidon, is the reason for this war. That you do this
immediately after attempting to make some sort of alliance with us shows
your true colors. That you seem to think we should separate ourselves
entirely from the Mages is another.

I don't see the death of your Council as "pointless bloodshed." I see it
as an opportunity to remove the stupidity and ignorance that has plagued
your hovel for years and years. Hopefully through this someone in your
Council will learn how to temper their actions instead of throwing
threats when they aren't needed.

And as I sit in here your Council, browsing the books in your library,
and posting from your newsroom, I have come to the revelation that
Kinsarmar isn't interested in peace at this time. Over and over your
Council has shown itself to be disrespectful to everyone beyond its
borders, unless it was seeking help. I believe it's time that you
learned how to respect those you wish to see as allies at some point.

Good day.
Duchess Kaethi Kith'Vahni

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
