A suggested Anthem

Aetherius,

In honor of the founding of Iriaen-land, by which I mean Vardaria, I
find it my duty as a bard to provide it with a suitable national anthem
extolling its virtues. As such, I present it to you.

Oh Vardaria, the gods have cursed thy name
No gathering of outcasts shall ever be the same.
A scarecrow leads them bravely, a phantom from the past,
Washed up and searching for a purpose that will last.
See the townesfolk working gloriously, within his grandiose brain
Does he think they're really there or is he just insane?
Their guardsmen stand fearlessly in his addled mind
I might fear their wrath were they more than pork rinds.
Lo it houses rejects from the world with no place left to turn
Such a great list of losers: Sani, Aakrin, and Gurn.
Cower in fear quietly now my bold comrades in arms.
We might have to imaginings to save ourselves from harm.

I sincerely hope the citizens of Vardaria will seriously consider this
in the running to best describe their great and frightful nation.

Sincerely,
Mathiu Reopev

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Naturalis, in the year 522 AD.
