Hello everyone. I'd like to take this opportunity to announce a poetry
contest. Please take a moment to read the remainder of this post, should
the idea pique your interest.

The rules are simple. Write a poem (or up to three) and present them on
the public poetry board for everyone to read. Please denote at the TOP
of your entry that it is for the Aetherius Poetry Contest.

When you have finished writing your poem, please briefly explain how the
poem was inspired. Please don't include an essay, but more then, "I love
my wife" would be nice.

Prizes will be awarded in two categories, free-form poems and form
poems. Examples of form poems include haiku, sonnets, or diamante. Form
poem submissions will be held -strictly- to the particular form rules.
Please denote if your entry is a form poem, and which form you have
chosen in your entry.

First place from both categories will receive 30 credits, and a custom
one-of-kind jewelry piece.

Second place will receive 15 credits, and various plants/elixers.

Third place will receive 5 credits and various herbs/elixers.

The winner will be determined by an Aetherius wide vote (for which you
will be able to vote -one- time, via tells) or a panel of four judges-
dependant on level of participation. An announcement detailing which way
the contest will be judged will come after the closing of the contest.

The contest will run one year from this date and time.
