Duchess,

I hereby formally declare a lasting ceasefire between myself and
Kinsarmar, its guilds, and allies. This on again and off again conflict
has plagued myself and the citizens of the Duchy ever since I was cast
out of the city a second time by Mathiu. I make my solemn oath to the
Gods that I will not raise another hand in anger to Kinsarmar. I am
tired of this, I have been weakened immensely from it dragging on. I
have hurt those I care about over it, and cast myself into the abyss of
self despair and denial of hope...for what? The satisfaction of
vengeance, the immediate gratification of the kill? Such is simply not
worth the cost I have endured, and not worth the cost your citizens have
endured over the decades. From this time on, I will fight no more.
