The Spear of Nathariel

Written by: Imperator Ihsan Nessaja, Chosen of War
Date: Thursday, September 4th, 2008
Addressed to: Janus, the Green Man

I have been more merciful than I should have been, it seems. I grant the
Green Man's city life and freedom in return for nothing more than a few
simple words and the spear which struck down Czevak in a final moment of
cowardice by the shattered city of Caanae's elder.

And yet I was deceived by weakness, just as Czevak before me. Such
treachery will not go unpunished. Ours is the will that moves the world,
and the very earth will shake in fear beneath the march of my legion's
booted feet.

Lord Janus' deception is more than clear to the City of War, and we will
not tolerate such insult, not even from one of the Divine. I /will/
receive the real spear, or everything His followers hold dear will burn
to ash in the night beneath storm-covered skies.

The Order of the God of Seasons has four days to get their patron to
remove the ties that bind the Spear of Nathariel to Kinsarmar's Duchess.
On the fourth day, we will begin to terminate every shred of scripture,
every hallowed shrine and every last thing in this world that brings He
and his followers happiness or joy.

We cannot be stopped. We will find victory, no matter your struggle.

Glory to the Stavennite Empire!

- Imperator Ihsan Nessaja, Chosen of War

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Ferinus, in the year 559 AD.
