Dear Aetherius,

First, I'll apologise for not using the poetry section but this little
poem just tickled my ribs so much I wanted all of you to share it.

Eiki, by Anon.

I come before you to tell a tale,
A story of of laughter and woe.
For I've found a combatant so frail,
He can't even kill me, his foe.

One day I walked, to dance under stars
When suddenly to my suprise,
Out from below came a guttoral growl,
A flash and a blade at my thighs.

So there I was in a terrible fright
Thinking my life at it's end.
Then, I found, to my delight,
That Eiki could not make me bend.

Try and try, though he might,
He failed even to give me a scratch.
So he followed me 'round, all through the night,
stabbing and stabbing and then.

He turned right around, finally gave up -
Tucked his tail back and just ran.
It's rather worth mention, wouldn't you say,
That of combat I am not a fan.

But stopped I was not, in my peaceful state,
From beating him down to the ground.
So now I tell all, for laughs and debate,
Of the skillessness that I have found.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Letum, in the year 564 AD.
