Guild Charters
Players have the ability to create new guilds as they see the need. Creating new guilds is not a simple or inexpensive process. Keep in mind that you will need to not only fulfill the following requirements, but you must also convince you city leadership that this guild will be a worthy addition. Additionally, your charter must approved by the game administration, which means it must fit the background of the city, and not duplicate any existing organizations. CHARTER CREATE <name> - This will create a new charter. The name argument will be the future name of the new guild. Whoever creates the charter, will be the GM when the guild is first created. Creation of a charter will cost 10 million gold. The charter will be assigned to the city you currently have membership in. CHARTER LIST - Lists all the charters which are currently created. CHARTER <name> SHOW - This command displays all the current settings for the guild charter you wish to examine. CHARTER <name> SHOW <guildnovices|help|mission> - This command displays all the current help files if they exist. CHARTER <name> SET <option> <value> - NAME <name> - PROFESSION <profession> - GUILDRANK <1-20> <title> - PATRON <god name> - <ADD|REMOVE> SECRETARY <player name> - HON <player name> - HON TITLE <title> - NOVICE CHANNEL <name> - NOVICE PREFIX <title> - NOVICE SUFFIX <title> CHARTER <name> EDIT <option> - HELP This is the basic help file player will see with the HELP <guildname> command. - MISSION The mission statement will explain how this guild will be different then any other guild with the same profession. It is only used during the charter process. - GUILDNOVICES This is the basic help file player will see with the HELP GUILDNOVICES <guild> command. It should have any information novices will what to know before joining your guild. CHARTER <name> SIGN - Anyone with the charter profession may sign the charter. - Before the charter can be submitted, 10 of the players must be Specialists or Masters of the charter profession. - The signer cannot be in a guild. - If the signer decides to join a guild or sign another charter, their name will be removed from the charter. - If you sign a charter, and the guild is formed, you will be unable to sign another charter for 25 years. CHARTER UNSIGN - Remove your name from a charter CHARTER <name> SUBMIT - This will submit the charter for approval by the city and the administration. Once submitted you can not make any modifications. You cannot submit a charter unless it is fully finished. The only items that may be left blank are the novice prefix and suffix. All help files must be at least 10 lines long. CHARTER <name> APPROVE - If both the city leader and the game administration use this command, the guild will be created. CHARTER <name> REJECT <reason> - If either the city leader or the game administration uses this command, the guild will be rejected and the reason messaged to the player. The player can then make any needed modifications and resubmit, or dissolve the charter. CHARTER <number> DISSOLVE - If this command is issued by the creator the charter is destroyed and the 10 million gold returned. - There are no refunds for charters that have been approved and turned into guilds.
