So close, yet so misinformed.

Hail, Aetherius.

Don't you just hate this long line of posts no one cares about? I sure
do. Anyway, on to my post which will start another long line of posts
you don't care about.

Song, the settlers of Antioch did lose power when they left Stavenn.
They were the fanatically anti-magick leaders the Noctusari overthrew.
They lost power. It's simple. This is where you lost, as Illyrion put
it. Of course, you don't consider it a loss, but the settlers of Antioch
did lose power.

Yes, the majority of Stavenn was magickal at the time, and since still
are, but that wasn't why the settlers left. They were forced to. Thrown
into the desert and left to die. Didn't work out too well, obviously,
but they hadn't "left" because of the "taint" of magick, they were
kicked out. Perhaps it was there wish, however, this I do not know. If
you choose to stick with the idea they left, then they ran from the
problem.

They did lose power, they were overthrown, and before you overthrow
someone, ya gotta make sure they lost as much power as possible. Your
history studies just aren't all that good, or you're just wording it to
your liking.
