'Xiur' cannibalism.

Dear Antioch,

Don't subject the Xiur to your rules established because of my
traditions. I can say with almost absolute certainty that I am the only
prominent Ithaquan Xiur. While other Xiur may eat carrion, I believe
that I am one of the only that partake in the Sacrament of the Flesh.

The corpse of Brendt was at the Shuk, with just Malyk and Keyara there.
I saw her appear on deathsight a day or so before I returned, and her
corpse was just rotting in the sun, her soul not even in the realms. If
any of your citizens cared so much to resurrect her, they wouldn't leave
the body to rot, and to be picked at by ravens.

I do not insult your city for its zealousness and bigotry, so why must
you insult a practice that is sacred to my people? Where I once found
shelter among your city, and defended it with glaive and bow, no longer.
Well done, on alienating your Ithaquan allies.

Lorccan d'Treune-Cridhe
Warden of the Black Pines

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Fas, in the year 468 AD.
