I am known to my people as a historian of some sorts, both for my family
of Rhuideans and for the lamiras as a whole - it is to the lamiras of my
guild now that I teach a story from history so that they will remember
where the Hunters have come from and where we should not go.
Once upon a time, a guild of Hunters was created.
The Hunters are a sect of people who found discontent with the demands
of urban life and longed for the more wild side of life. The Hunters are
those who have found themselves best suited for a life of freedom, where
they can move like the breath of the Wind. They have found that their
shelter and love stems from the forests and hills of Imperian. They are
the tradesmen of Nature, trapping and hunting to support their
lifestyle. They hold the life of every plant and animal sacred, paying
deep respect to those that give their lives for the sake of the Hunters'
survival. The members of this guild have learned lands of Imperian
perfectly, being wonderful guides for those who would happen to get lost
in their surrounding environment, should they feel in the mood to
provide such assistance.
Upon exploring deep within the Western Celidon Forest, the Hunters
discovered a peak rising between the trees. They fondly named this
natural wonder Phoenix Crest, since the peak seems to alight with fire
as the blazing sun rises and sets behind it. Within Phoenix Crest is a
maze of caves that were converted into the perfect living quarters and
now serves as a base for the Hunters. Over time, they have settled
enough to watch their community flourish and grow, though that wild
spirit will never leave their souls.
Remember always, young Hunters, Celidon Council was created originally
to serve you and your ways . To provide a place in which to keep your
rich history, arts and lifestyle within the balances of Nature. In no
point in history, save for the last maybe decade, did your guild ever
seek to sever ties, slowly, with Celidon.
And the tale is spun, and time passes onward. Leaders take notions of
what Nature is and what Her great plans for Life are. Some grow in the
Hunters as great leaders beyond years and generations of your
ancestorslike Rivaidan, the first guild master, and someone whos always
taken interest in the Hunters guild, even after his path took him away
from us. Or Skye, whos work is threaded throughout everything you see in
the guildshe was guild master, HoN, assisted in active patrols, assisted
prosperity in the guild store, served as classlead, dealt with order
issues, referendum activities and rescribed countless inguilding request
letters. Or choose to set as an example Loegaire, who served via
guildhelp scrolls, battle and loyalty, or Maleahs tireless work with
novices and drawing attention to guilds need for changeor Risca, who was
guild master, worked with herb bans, addressed extermination and
upholding the laws concerning, file updates and voiced concern when
things seemed to be straying. He was one who discovered Celidons secrets
and served as Emeris. I will always cherish words spoken by our past
leaders like Pahii in the Hunters post 20, or Aluria, who served as HoN
and created guild gatherings, there are many to choose from who have
struggled for the right sort of path for Hunters.
But you do not have to be a Hunter to know the brutality and raw ideal
of the fittest of the fit survive. Apparently, you have to be Ithaquan.
For it is one lycaeans particular ideals and leadership who started
Ithaquans force upon Naturewho drew down younger generations to follow
in his footsteps. This next tale told is of darkest dread.
None can tell it best like the story retold so many times, it doesnt
have an author anymore. READNEWS EVENTS 29. Tell me if this is a path
the Hunters should go down, knowing, young lamira Hunters, what you know
now of the guilds creation. Knowing what you are taught as a novice, and
grow to love as a full Hunter. Knowing, that any ideals that come from
Ithaqua are not presented in a manner befitting a true Hunter. Do not
falter, for I have seen many changes in this guild. Over 90 years worth
of changes. Those in the future must be made by you, too, not just your
guild elders. Remember my story about the past, and apply it to your
future.

The end - or is it?
